In 2011 years 4 boys began to study the Bible in the Albanian city of Pogradec. A city where less than 1% of people know Christ. The Lord saved them, they began to bear fruit and 2 years later (2013) a weekly meeting started with 20 students in attendance.

The years were followed with outreach ministries, bible studies, summer camps and training meetings. More people were saved. In October of 2015 the the first Sunday service was held with over 100 people in attendance. More people were saved, and the congregation continued to grow.

The growing congregation moved locations three times to accommodate the growing ministry. Finally the time came to consider a permenant and strategic location for this church to call home. A buildling in the center of Pogradec where Christ would be proclaimed.

By God’s grace, a large, previously unmaintained property in the center of the city was purchased through the generous donations of Thrive’s supporters. After extensive renovations the church held its first service on April 14th, 2018. This property now serves as the church’s place of worship and a hub for Gospel outreach. It is sustained by several businesses managed by the church, including SEVEN Hotel & Cafe and Seasons Bakery. These enterprises not only support the church’s ministry but also provide employment for many of its members.

Our mission is to make the name of Jesus Christ known in this city, not only for this generation but for generations to come. We pray that this building will serve as a place to reach the community, disciple believers, and strengthen the body of Christ for His service in this city and throughout Albania.
